Shoulder Brace, Donjoy SCOI
Purpose of the Device
- Provides immobilization of the shoulder complex by fixing the arm in an abducted position
- Abduction range varies from 30 degrees to 90 degrees with the elbow position held in any natural angle
Indications
- Various shoulder postoperative applications
- Shoulder capsule tears
Special Considerations
- This device will only provide abduction control with flexion, extension and rotation held at neutral
- If variations in flexion, extension or rotation are required in addition to abduction the Donjoy Quadrant model should be used
