Purpose of the Device

• Two piece supramalleolar/ankle foot orthosis, which provides flexibility and control of the ankle and foot
• The inner shell is a supramalleolar orthosis controlling foot position and pronation
• The snap on posterior section provides the control of an AFO

• Tone
• Pronation
• Spasticity

• Dynamic foot plate
• Tone reducing footplate

Special Considerations

• Snap together construction is ideal for use with therapy
• The SMO can be used during therapy and the gains can be maintained afterwards by applying the posterior shell
• Also comes in an articulated ankle version
