This should allow you to tighten the brace to the second line on the strap or beyond it by your next appointment with the physician.
At the follow up x-ray in the brace, please make sure that the brace is pulled to the second line. If you are not up to the second line, please pull the brace to that line for the x-ray. If you are past the second line, do not loosen the strap to the second line for the x-ray. Take the x-ray with the strap where you are wearing it – as long as it is past the second line.
If the plastic is close to touching or touching in the back, please make an appointment with one of our offices to have that opening adjusted. But still take the x-ray at the tightest strap position.

When you get to bathe after surgery but need to keep your incision dry!
Cast/Post Surgical Covers : www.TDPproducts.net
These are put to use in many wound centers and postsurgical settings where any limb/wound needs to stay dry. It lets people continue to enjoy the luxury of a nice shower, but still prevents moisture getting to the incision and reducing infection risk. Ultimately, in the day and age of patient satisfaction, it provides a tangible item to make people more confident in their recovery.
Any amputee that is recovering from a surgery after the first few weeks typically needs to keep the incision dry.
