- Temporary shoe with velcro closures to the toes, for use when a patient is unable to wear a normal shoe

- Post-operative applications
- Edema
Common Additions
- Inserts, to relieve pressure areas on the plantar surface of the foot
Special Considerations
- Shoe easily adjusts for changes in volume due to edema, post-operative dressings, etc.

- Maintains abducted position of foot, achieved by surgery or manipulation
Indications
- Congenital talipes equinovarus clubfoot
- Metatarsus adductus

Special Considerations
- Open-toed shoe is recommended for infants for easy donning and doffing to prevent clawed toes

Purpose of the Device
- Increases support to medial aspect of foot
Indications
- Hyperpronation
Common Additions
- Medial longitudinal arch support pad can be added for additional pronation control
Special Considerations
- A chubby pediatric foot may not fit this style because of the closed-toe design; may have to go to open-toe model
